影片讲述了与人生倦怠期11岁的东春所说的米酒梦幻般的友情和冒险的成长故事。
东春是一名小学生，在七所课外学校学习。因为作业太多，甚至没有足够的时间去问为什么。一天晚上，东春从学校旅行回来后独自留在宿舍，偶然发现了一瓶米酒。后来，米酒开始发酵并发出奇怪的声音。咕嘟咕嘟咕嘟咕嘟咕嘟咕嘟。很快，东俊了解到这种有节奏的声音类似于科学课上学到的莫尔斯电码。米酒想说什么？东春的不幸变得无法控制。东俊追寻米酒的身份，最终知道了世界秘密的答案，以及为什么一个人必须以这样的方式生活。
