《秘密决定》是一部以二战为背景的惊悚片。西蒙是一个为盟军效力的女杀手，她接到任务要去处决埃米尔。埃米尔是一位德国科学家，他先于美国发现了制造原子弹的方法，现在带着身上的秘密打算逃往瑞士，却同时也被另一个德国科学家柯尼希所带领的德国士兵所追捕。在这场追逐中，浪漫的爱情和量子力学相交织在一起。这部用黑白片形式拍摄的影片达到了时空穿梭的效果，让人惊诧万分地以为原子弹原型也许真的留在了火车上。
